By grace, I have community

 

 The words are from an old hymn and are vintage King James but they best express how I have always found community-"O how kindly, hast thou led me, heavenly father, day by day! Found my dwelling, clothed and fed me, furnished friends to cheer my way!" Each time we moved I found wonderful friends who loved on me and my children. Some were my peers, some were younger, and many were older but each one was God's perfect gift to me at that season of my life. So many of the things I learned by talking with them and watching their lives turned out to be valuable lessons I would need to apply later on. By grace, I have community.
